The Photography Club of the Faculty of Dentistry, Thammasat University (Photo Dent Club TU)
aims to promote and develop photography skills among dental students. The club offers knowledge and hands-on experience ranging from basic to advanced levels for those interested in photography. It also serves as a creative platform for members to express their imagination and artistic vision through various photographic works shared with the public.
A core mission of the club is to encourage dental students to make productive use of their free time while fostering unity and camaraderie within the faculty. With these goals in mind, the Photo Dent Club TU was established under the Faculty of Dentistry, Thammasat University.
The Volunteer Club of the Faculty of Dentistry, Thammasat University was established in October 2011 in response to the severe flooding that affected several provinces, including Ayutthaya, Pathum Thani, and Nakhon Sawan. The flood caused significant hardship for the local populations. In response, dental students organized the Volunteer Club to help alleviate the suffering of the affected communities.
As part of this initiative, the club, in collaboration with the Student Dental Association of Thailand (SDAT), launched the project "Dental Students Unite to Help Flood Victims" at Wat Thuat Thong School in Ban Pathum, Sam Khok District, Pathum Thani Province, on December 18, 2011. This marked the clubs first community service project.
The establishment of the Volunteer Club of the Faculty of Dentistry, Thammasat University aligns with Thammasat University's philosophy, which aims to instill a sense of social responsibility and a commitment to serving the community among its students.
The Student Union is located on the first floor of the Ratchasuda Building and serves as a meeting point for student organizations and various clubs. It provides a space for students to hold meetings and relax at their convenience. The building is currently undergoing renovations, which are expected to be completed around mid-2024.
