The Faculty of Dentistry, Thammasat University
is the first in Thailand to develop a Bilingual Doctor of Dental Surgery Program To enhance opportunities for international competitiveness in the dental profession, this program welcomes applicants from international education systems, English Programs (EP), and other interested individuals. The instruction is delivered in English to support global academic and professional readiness.
In Years 12, students will study at the Chulabhorn International College of Medicine, Thammasat University, and engage in intensive foundational courses in the dental profession.
In Years 36, students will continue their studies at the Faculty of Dentistry, Thammasat University, and Thammasat University Hospital.
This program meets the demand for dentists both nationally and internationally
by incorporating diverse learning approaches to equip graduates with 21st-century skills. It aligns with the evolving needs of the dental profession in the future, such as geriatrics, digital dentistry, and aesthetic dentistry.

In addition to developing professional dental skills, students will also acquire future-ready competencies through conducting research projects under the guidance of expert faculty. They will have the opportunity to present their work at prestigious international dental conferences, such as the International Association of Dental Research (IADR) conference in Year 4. In Year 6, students will participate in study tours at leading dental schools in Europe and America, fostering academic and cultural exchange. This experience will broaden their perspectives and professional experience, enhancing opportunities for further education abroad.
หThe Doctor of Dental Surgery (Bilingual Program) at Thammasat University is the first bilingual dental program in Thailand The program has been continuously accredited by the Dental Council of Thailand. By 2025, it has produced five cohorts of dental graduates, who are now working in government agencies, private sector, universities, and pursuing further studies at leading institutions both domestically and internationally
The program has consistently been evaluated at a high level for the quality of its teaching and learning, and is currently undergoing international quality assessment such as the ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance (AUN-QA), which reflects the Faculty of Dentistry, Thammasat University's potential in providing high-quality education and producing future-ready dental graduates who are in demand by society and capable of entering the dental profession as professionals.
