Philosophy of the Program
     The Doctor of Dental Surgery Program (Regular Program) at Thammasat University is committed to producing graduates with internationally recognized professional competencies. Graduates are expected to become modern leaders who serve the public and provide holistic oral healthcare within multicultural societies, guided by strong ethical principles in dental practice. The program emphasizes lifelong learning skills and is structured based on the concept of Outcome-Based Education (OBE), delivered through active, integrative, and experiential learning.

DDS Curriculum Overview
          The curriculum of the Doctor of Dental Surgery Program (Regular Program) is designed under the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) framework, which prioritizes student learning outcomes as the core of educational design. In order to achieve the Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs), the curriculum is structured into three major components:
1. General education
2. Medical and Dental Sciences
3. Life Skills and Dental Professionalism

Course Component
      The General Basic component is founded upon two main educational concepts aimed at fostering a deep understanding of humanity and global citizenship. These form the foundation for developing dentists who are capable of providing holistic oral healthcare in a multicultural society. The learning journey begins with self-awareness, empathy, effective and diverse communication, and interpersonal relationships.
       Students are also encouraged to recognize their roles and responsibilities as citizens of both Thai and global communities. They will explore knowledge, research, innovation, and technology to help them live efficiently and meaningfully in an ever-changing world. In addition, the program seeks to cultivate the Thammasat Graduate Attributes, represented by the acronym GREATS:

Demonstrating sustainable responsibility towards oneself, others, society, and the environment.
