Transportation within the University

Getting around Thammasat University is very convenient, as the university offers various modes of transportation. Students can travel by private vehicles, with ample parking spaces available for those who commute by car. In addition to private transport, there are also several public transportation options provided:

         1. EV Shuttle Buses
There are 5 electric shuttle bus routes operating within the university, designed to facilitate student travel and ensure accessibility across the entire campus.
To reach the Faculty of Dentistry, students can take Route 2, which travels from Dormitory Zone A and B to the front of Thammasat University Hospital. This route passes the Faculty of Dentistry building, and students can get off at the Piyachart Building bus stop.
Alternatively, Route 5 travels from Dome Building (Administrative Building) to the front of the hospital, with the same drop-off point as Route 2.


          2. Songthaew (Mini Trucks)
Songthaews operate throughout the university with a flat fare of 5 THB. Students can choose this transportation option depending on the route they need. It is a fast and convenient way to get around campus.


          3. Motorcycle Taxis
Motorcycle taxis are available at almost every bus stop on campus. They charge a flat rate of 15 THB for rides within the university. This is a quick and efficient way to reach your destination directly.


         4. Bicycles and Electric Scooters (Anywheel)
Green Anywheel bicycles and electric scooters are available at all traffic stops around the university. Students can download the Anywheel application, top up their balance, and scan to ride.
The university has designated bike lanes that cover the entire campus to support safe and convenient cycling.
On-campus accommodation

Accommodation Options

There are three main types of accommodation:

1. On-campus dormitories, managed by the university
2. Off-campus dormitories, managed by private operators
Condominiums


On-campus Dormitories

Thammasat University provides on-campus dormitories for students who wish to live within the university premises. These dormitories are divided into several zones: Zone B, Zone C, Zone E, Zone M, Zone F, and the Medical Dormitory.

The university offers a variety of room types, including single rooms, double rooms, and four-person rooms. Shared facilities outside the rooms include hot and cold water dispensers, water purifiers, coin-operated washing machines, and elevators.

The average monthly fee for on-campus dormitories is approximately 3,000 THB.


Off-campus Dormitories

In addition to on-campus housing, there are also private dormitories located near the university. These accommodations vary in terms of pricing and available facilities. Typically, off-campus dormitories are more expensive than on-campus ones but may offer more amenities.


Condominiums

Around Thammasat University, Rangsit Campus, there are several condominium projects available. These condominiums usually come with full facilities and conveniences.


Canteens

There are several canteens located on Thammasat University, Rangsit Campus, including the Green Canteen, the Hygiene Building Canteen, and the Thammasat University Hospital Canteen, among others.
